Radio Rag always broadcast live programmes. This was long before the days of automated radio.

In 1982 Gerry Anderson built a professional audio desk. This was a great step forward from the students union DJ consoles that had been borrowed in previous years.

These photos show the studio at Moss Side, in I think, 1982 or 1983.
